Will it fit any size toothbrush?
It will accommodate any standard manual toothbrush. It will also accommodate most electric toothbrush heads when detached. The Sonicare brand electric toothbrush head will not fit, as it is too bulky even when detached.

Does it come with a toothbrush?
No. A toothbrush is not included. You can use your existing toothbrush .

Can I use one unit for more than one toothbrush or share one unit with all our family members?
Technically, yes. However, the OraPure Toothbrush Sanitizer serves two main purposes: First, to sanitize your toothbrush. Second to store your toothbrush in a clean environment until you use it again. If you use one unit for multiple toothbrushes, your toothbrush will become contaminated again after you take it out of the storage case and store it els ewhere. Thus, for peak effectiveness, you will want one unit per brush to provide sanitization and safe storage.
Do I have to plug it in?
No. It is powered by two AA batteries, thus making it portable and very convenient.
Do you have a money-back guarantee or warranty?
Yes. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. The product is also protected by a one year limited warranty.
Can I buy it in a local store?
The OraPure Toothbrush Sanitizer is a new product and is not currently offered in any stores. We are establishing distribution, and will start to post availability on our website as this information becomes available. You can currently only purchase directly from us on this website or by phone or mail.
What steps are required to clean my toothbrush?
After you have installed your batteries in to the unit, simply place your toothbrush into the case, close the lid and walk away. It is as easy as that! Your toothbrush will be sanitized in approximately 7 minutes and will stay clean in the case until yo u use it next.
Are there other ways to sanitize my toothbrush?
Yes, you can boil your tootbrush for 10 minutes in boiling water. However, this will start to damage your bristles and shorten the life of your toothbrush. Besides, who wants to boil their toothbrush twice a day? You can also soak your toothbrush in alcohol or peroxide. This can be messy and not as affective, as it is difficult for liquid to get in between the bristles as they are so close together. OraPure is much safer and convenient.
Is it safe?
The OraPure Toothbrush Sanitizer is safe and effective. Unlike other devices which use hot steam, it is virtually impossible to burn yourself using OraPure. Orapure does not use heat or boiling water to sanitize your toothbrush. Its pure safe ultraviolet (UV) germicidal lamp generates UV light and Ozone (Activated Oxygen) to purify your toothbrush.
Is it FDA r egistered?
Yes, the OraPure Toothbrush Sanitizer is registered with the FDA.

How long do the batteries and bulb last?
The batteries will last approximately 3 months if used twice per day. The UV bulb is rated to last for over 5-6 years.
How large is the unit?
The entire unit is 8.5 inches long by 2 inches wide by 1 inch in height. It will accommodate toothbrushes as long as 7.75 inches long.
How do I clean and maintain the product?
Every few weeks you should clean out the inside of the case using a cotton swab with a small amount of alcohol. You can gently clean off the UV bulb using a Q-Tip or something similar.
